The main hall of the Optimist Youth Center is available for rent during the day and on weekends. The hall is approximately 3400 sq. ft. (70ft X 48ft.) and has a 350 sq. ft. stage. The hall seats 250 guests and is ideal for Wedding receptions, Anniversary or Birthday parties, Fundraisers or Jack and Jills. The hall is wheelchair accessible and includes a handicap washroom.
The Club meeting room (Upstairs) seats up to 60 people and is ideal for small to medium sized business meetings.
There is a servery and bar area in both venues. These are equiped with a standard refrigerator, a beverage cooler, a freezer and a microwave oven. A stove is also available for warming food at an additional cost.
Rectangular tables and chairs are provided for seating 250 guests, round tables are available for an additional fee.
Rental rates are:
Monday to Thursday during the day (till 5:00 pm) $300
Friday and Saturday (Noon till 2:00 am) $700
Sunday (From Noon) $500
In addition a $200 refundable damage deposit is required on all rentals.
There is a $200 deposit (Or 50% of the booking fee for weekday rentals) required at time of booking. The balance of the rental fee plus the damage deposit is due 30 days prior to booked event.
If alcohol is being served the client is responsible for obtaining the necessary Liquor license (Special Occasion Permit) and proof of liability insurance is also required.
